These lovely earrings are made of silver by a technique known as filigree. This is where a fine silver wire is bent to make a lace-like shape. These earrings have a small turquoise-colored stone in their middle. They are marked 925 on the back. The screw-back mechanism works well but does not test as silver. The closures are likely replacements for the original ear wires to adapt them to non-pierced ears. The earrings are generally in good vintage condition.
